Description

A home run every 14.2 at bats makes Harmon Killebrew one of the best power hitters in baseball history, behind Ralph Kiner, Babe Ruth and Mark McGwire. Killebrew is the subject of this intriguing circa 1957 Game Used & Signed Hillerich and Bradsby professional model bat. The bat has moderate game use with a repaired 2” crack in the handle and a 5" splinter in the back barrel. The barrel is also home to the (“8”) potency signature of the slugger. The model number (D2) is etched into the knob, which is also home to a green marker “3”, which became the jersey number of Killebrew after 1956. SCD Authentic LOA for the game use signed by Troy Kinunen. Auction LOA from JSA (for autograph).
