Description

Tommy Smith and John Carlos made a social statement on the podium at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City. They raised their fists in the air in what is commonly referred to as a black power salute to protest the treatment of African Americans in the United States during the civil rights movement. That moment is accurately captured in this limited edition (/500) medallion. The collectible comes with a laced chain that allows it to be worn around the neck; a truly unique and significant offering, it comes with an LOA from Big Owens.
