Self-proclaimed "the straw that stirs the drink", HOF slugger Reggie Jackson proved a fruitful 1977 free agent signing for the New York Yankees. In the first of three incredible World Series appearances with the Yankees, Jackson had the most memorable game of his power packed career, by smashing 3 home runs in Game 6 of the 1977 "Fall Classic". This memorable moment is preserved for eternity with this 1977 WS press pass, which is certified Authentic by PSA. Issued at Yankee Stadium to United Press lead World Series writer Carl Lundquist, this "working press" pass was good for entry to the Yankee Stadium press sections and interview room for Games 6, 7 & R, as noted on the pass obverse and the PSA flip label which also cites "Mr. October's" Game 6 bid for baseball immortality with "GM6: Jackson 3 HR'S", which elimated the need for Games 7 & R (whatever that was).
