Detailed description on our website.
Major League short-timer Larry Burright has the dubious distinction of being best remembered for some poor fielding for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1962 NL playoffs against the San Francisco Giants.
Recall this utility infielder's service with this lot of (3) Burright related items with: 1.) c.1962 game used bat in excellent condition with light traces of use, this handsome Louisville Slugger has a few contact marks, but remains otherwise very clean and attractive with Burright’s name burned into the barrel, the smallish knob is embossed with “B228”, 2.) 1962 Union 76 Volpe 8-1/2 x 11” Los Angeles Dodgers print (EX-MT+) with deference to tape/stains on the edges of the reverse with negligible impact on the appeal of the obverse, this print is signed (“8-9”) and personalized on the bottom border by Burright; and 3.) 1963 New York Mets 8x10 photo (EX-MT) signed (“5”) with first name only, accompanied by a handwritten note.
Given Burright’s brief tenure of MLB service, game-used items are fairly tough to come by, making this a rare opportunity. No authentication for the signed items due to time/cost factors.
