How great was baseball during the 1956 season? Not only was golden boy Mickey Mantle in the midst of his Triple Crown season, but possibly the greatest collection of talent was playing in the majors in one single season. While some of the greats were winding down their careers like Jackie Robinson and Ted Williams, many were just starting like Aaron, Banks, Mathews, F. Robinson and Kaline. Offered is a 1956 All-Star Game ticket stub. Graded GD 2 by PSA, the front of the "Clark Griffith Memorial" voucher presents slightly nicer, but the reverse is home to some spots of paper loss on the top of the stub. A nice collectible for DC area baseball enthusiasts, the Upper Grand Stand stub has a colorful image of the late owner's face.
