Originally awarded to Philadelphia’s Shibe Park, the 1951 All-Star Game was moved to Briggs Stadium, where Ty Cobb threw the ceremonial first pitch as Detroit celebrated its 250th anniversary. Unfortunately, the AL hosts lost to their counterparts 8-3. Leftover from that game is this 1951 All-Star Game ticket stub. Encapsulated and graded VG 3 by PSA, the July 10, 1951 upper deck reserved stub originally cost $3.00. The ticket features light creasing around the bottom left edge accounting for its technical grade, but it features clear, bold black & red print and was detached from the rest of the voucher in a relatively clean fashion.
