In a 1963 rematch of their first title fight in 1962, Sonny Liston again KO'd Floyd Patterson in the first round to retain the heavyweight crown. Though Liston used his gargantuan fists to pound his way into the ranks of the top heavyweights of all time, his criminal record and reports of drug and alcohol abuse and connections to organized crime made him an unpopular champion. Patterson on the other hand was a fan favorite known as "The Gentleman of Boxing", who made many friends during his career. Regarded by reporters as a battle between good and evil, the Liston-Patterson contests are recalled by the offered 7/22/63 full ticket from the Las Vegas Convention Center. This sharp ticket features photos of the combatants and shows handseomely with vivid colors, clean surfaces and sharp corners and has been designated Authentic by PSA, with a label notation of "Punch-Cancel" referring to the presence of three hole punches.
