Thwarted in the 2011 NBA Finals to culminate the first season with the “Big Three,” the Miami Heat were not to be denied in 2012, making short work of the Oklahoma City Thunder for the franchise’s second crown and the very first for LeBron James. Crafted by Jostens, the 10-karat white gold accessory features a black onyx stone as the subtle backdrop for the real fireworks: a 10-karat yellow gold Larry O’Brien trophy likeness with a .15 point brilliant cut diamond at the center of the basketball; a 10-karat white gold Miami Heat logo design set with (16) round brilliant cut diamonds; and a surrounding symmetrically arranged bed of (38) round brilliant cut diamonds. Flanking that design is an equally ostentatious proclamation of “WORLD CHAMPIONS” (above and below in raised characters). The left shank features “LEWIS 2012” in raised characters and a team championship trophy with “ALL IN” on the black enamel facing and a black onyx stone in the ball. Under the trophy are (16) yellow gold bars representing the number of wins in pursuit of the title. The right shank is home to “MIAMI HEAT” is raised letters and (2) championship trophy designs with a round brilliant cut genuine diamond in each basketball. The band’s interior has an engraved legend reading “Forged in fire between a hammer and Anvil – 6-21-12.” The prize embraces a total of 63 round brilliant cut diamonds (all SI2 G-H color) with a total weight of approximately 1.7 carats. Accompanying is the original presentation box with a hinged glass-face lid. COA from Jostens.
The ring is a size 7-1/2.
