Description

The Duke Blue Devils started the 1940 basketball season with six road games so that they could face rival Princeton in the first game ever at Duke Indoor Stadium (later renamed Cameron Indoor Stadium). A crowd of 8,000 watched forward Glenn Price lead the home team to a 36-27 victory. The offered program is from that contest and presents in VG condition, mostly due to moderate to heavy creasing. The publication is fully intact and presents well as an excellent piece of Duke collegiate sports history.
