Description

Ebbets Field is the hallowed hall where the immortals of Brooklyn past were housed, an oddly shaped field with resulting dimensions that were unique to the longtime National League park. The home of “Dem Bums” is the subject of this lot of (100) 1990 Sporting News prints. Produced in memory of the home of the Dodgers, the piece features content related to longtime franchise mainstays such as Jackie Robinson, Babe Herman, Duke Snider, Gil Hodges and others. The bottom of the prints that present in average NM or better condition reads “Seating Capacity 32,111 – First Game April 9, 1913”.
