Description

Put the finishing touches on some important 1930s baseball card sets with this fantastic pair of wax pack wrappers. Featured are:
1.) 1934 R320 Goudey Big League Chewing Gum “clear wax” wrapper with an image and facsimile signature of Lou Gehrig below a game action scene; and 2.) 1934-1936 R318 National Chicle Batter-Up wrapper also with “clear wax” showing an artwork image of a catcher.

Both of these exciting collectibles are in better condition with vivid colors and clearly defined graphics that were designed with the intent of grabbing your attention. These nicely preserved treasures show surprisingly modest wear considering their of age of more than eighty years. Other than typical stress along the original factory fold lines, they are generally clean and glossy with light to moderate peripheral wear, including a couple of small tears on one edge of the Batter-Up piece.
